Do you take on commercial and multi-unit work?
Yes, small projects: fit-outs and mezzanines, townhouses and multi-unit housing, and condition and defect reports. Each one is a fixed quote, ex GST.

What don't we do?
We don't build, repair or certify. We inspect, diagnose, design and write engineer's letters and certificates, and we never sell the fix, so our advice isn't tied to a sale.
- Building work or repairs of any kind, or recommending who does them
- Building approval or certification: that's your certifier
- The seller's building and compliance report itself, though we assess the structures it flags
- Pest inspections, asbestos testing or entering Mr Fluffy roof spaces or subfloors
- BAL (bushfire attack level) assessments, tree assessments or land surveys

What's the cheapest way to get a structural engineer's opinion?
A desktop review, from $390 + GST ($429 inc GST). We review your photos, plans or a contractor's quote and give written advice, with no site visit.
Do you do building and pest inspections?
No. Our pre-purchase structural inspection covers the structure. We don't do pest inspections, so book those separately.
Are your prices the same outside Canberra?
Yes, in Queanbeyan, Jerrabomberra and Googong. Desktop reviews work anywhere in the region. Further out, ask us for a fixed quote.
My problem isn't listed. Can you tell me what I need?
