Which area page covers my suburb?

We use ACT Planning's district names, so a few local names need a word of explanation.

Districts
ACT Planning names nine: Belconnen, East Canberra, Gungahlin, Inner North and City, Inner South, Molonglo Valley, Tuggeranong, Weston Creek and Woden. East Canberra has no page of its own; send the address and we quote it the same way.
Manuka
A shopping precinct in Griffith, not a suburb. It's on the Inner South page.
Jerrabomberra
Two places share the name. The NSW suburb is under QPRC and has its own page. The ACT district (Hume, Symonston, Oaks Estate) is mostly non-residential and follows ACT rules.
Molonglo
A planned suburb inside the Molonglo Valley district, alongside Coombs, Wright, Denman Prospect and Whitlam.
Belconnen
Both a district and a suburb within it.

Send photos or plans from any of these areas and we reply with a fixed quote in under 20 minutes on average, during business hours.

Something else on your mind? Call 02 6189 9876, email info@canberrastructuralengineers.com.au or send photos for a fixed quote.

Do you charge more for Queanbeyan, Jerrabomberra or Googong?

No. Prices are the same as in Canberra, from $390 + GST ($429 inc GST). Only the approval rules change, because those three are in New South Wales.

Which page covers Manuka?

Manuka is the shopping precinct in Griffith, not a suburb, so it's on our Inner South page.

Do ACT rules apply in Jerrabomberra?

Not in the NSW suburb, which is under Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council. The ACT also has a district called Jerrabomberra (Hume, Symonston and Oaks Estate), where ACT rules apply.

Do you work outside Canberra and Queanbeyan?

Desktop reviews of photos, plans and reports work anywhere in the region, from $390 + GST ($429 inc GST). For a site visit further out, send the address and ask us for a fixed quote.

How do I check whether my block could flood?

In the ACT, use the flood maps on ACTmapi. On the NSW side, ask QPRC: its Queanbeyan floodplain study maps the 1% AEP flood. We don't label any block safe or at risk.
